Sourcing came first.
I’m Derek. I own a med spa in Queen Creek, Arizona. For a long time I bought equipment the way everyone does: from the catalogue, at the catalogue price, assuming that was simply what it cost.
Then I went looking for the people who actually made it. The work was not magic. It was finding real factories, getting real quotes, understanding samples and freight, and taking responsibility for the logistics so the business owner did not have to.
Then the same pattern showed up elsewhere.
My businesses also needed websites, systems, local search, and a better way for customers to get in touch. Too often, the solution came wrapped in a sales process, an account manager, and a price that had more to do with the agency’s overhead than the problem in front of us.
So I learned that work too. Not to become a broad consulting firm, but to solve the practical pieces small businesses need to look credible and be easy to find.
So The Go Direct Guy expanded.
The two sides of the business are the same idea applied in different places: fewer unnecessary layers between an owner and the thing they need. Sometimes that means a treatment chair. Sometimes it means a website that finally works on a phone. Either way, you get one accountable person who will tell you plainly what makes sense.
